ICPR project – another bridge crossed. Sisak – Moslavina county outreach team has returned from USA, Silicon Valley. From March 24 – March 31 we have had a number of meetings with companies operating in electronic sector (semiconductor industry). Croatia, especially Sisak – Moslavina county, was represented as an attractive place for investments with all advantages and possibilities. The members of our team were: Zdenko Lucić from Ministry of Economy, Andreja Šeperac and Milijana Borojević from SIMORA Development agency. The team was very well prepared. We had answers to all questions, established new contacts but also learned a lot about electronic sector, today's new ideas, projects, experiences... Our thanks goes to the outreach consultants: David Banks, Zdenko Lucić, Tomislav Pokaz and Marija Vukelić – for good preparation and instructions. Also we want to thank all other colleagues from other ICPR standards; they really helped with advices and support. Zdenko organized the trip perfectly, so we came back a little bit spoiled. We owe a big gratitude to: Mr Darko Matt Sertić, who welcomed us with great hospitality, helped us with arranging meetings and showed how much he cares for Sisak and Mr Dubravko Babić who helped us with the presentation but also with his contacts in the Silicon Valley. For people from the Development agency this was a great experience, opportunity to learn, to learn about work habits in high tech world and a chance to see San Francisco...
